ExcaliRec is a browser-based whiteboard recorder. We designed it so your whiteboard work and recordings stay on your device whenever possible.

Information you create in the app

Whiteboard drawings, camera preview, microphone input, and recordings are processed in your browser. ExcaliRec does not upload your recording files to our servers as part of the normal recording workflow.

Local browser storage

ExcaliRec may store settings and whiteboard state in your browser so the app can remember your preferred layout, aspect ratio, language, and recent work. You can clear this data from your browser settings.

Support emails

If you contact us at support@excalirec.com, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or purchase question. We use it only to answer and support you.

Payments

Paid purchases are processed by Creem. Payment details are handled by Creem, not by ExcaliRec directly. We may receive purchase status, customer email, and product information needed to provide access and support.

Analytics and cookies

ExcaliRec does not require an account to start recording. If we add analytics or cookies later, we will update this policy and keep the use limited to product improvement and abuse prevention.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with service providers when needed to run the product, process payments, answer support, comply with law, or protect the product from abuse.
